The Dive Planet team found the freighter in 2001 after an exhausting search and immediately became one of the most popular diving destinations.

Only 45 min of navigation.

About 20 miles off the coast of Rimini lies the wreck of a cargo ship 60 meters long, 9 meters wide and 13 and a half meters high, sunk at 9 p.m. on August 1, 1989, having taken on water in the engine room due to bad weather. It was carrying carob beans, destination Ravenna, and there were 7 crew members (no one died). The 495-ton freighter was launched on January 17, 1956 under the name LELIEGRACHT (as can be read on the bronze bell recovered on the ship by Dive Planet). This name was changed to MAGU in 1966 and finally to ANNI in 1985.

On the great wreck there are numerous huge marthasterias glacialis, the largest stars in the Mediterranean. There are also many melon hedgehogs (echinus melo) as big as a beach volleyball ball. But the real undisputed masters of the wreck are the Musdee, some of which are large and even more than a meter long. There are many lobsters, including the largest that we call “Attila”, lobsters, and the magnificent Conger eels that reach 2.5 meters. The wreck is also home to hundreds of nudibranchs and scorpion fish. Magnificent are the Crabs, which camouflage themselves on the structures.

We set up a deco station at 6 meters with a bar and 6 regulators, with nitrox 38%
